Letters to the editor.
The fastest route to the editor is a plain email. No contact forms. Corrections are welcomed, in fact encouraged — the publication's credibility depends on them.
By subject
Corrections. james@thenutritiondex.com — include the entry URL and the primary source (USDA release, FDA regulation, journal paper with DOI) that supports the correction. Honoured in place with a dated corrigendum line.
Term submissions. james@thenutritiondex.com — readers may propose terms. Priority goes to measurable quantities we can source to the primary literature. Send the proposed term, one sentence on why it belongs in the index, and a candidate primary source if you have one.
Institutional licensing. james@thenutritiondex.com — for dietetics programmes, clinical teams, and food-industry compliance desks considering a per-seat licence.
Press enquiries. james@thenutritiondex.com — James answers interview requests personally. No PR-agency intermediaries.
What we don't accept
Sponsored-content pitches, press-trip invitations, affiliate programmes, and "thought leadership" byline offers from nutrition-technology companies are not considered and are not acknowledged. Corrections from employees of named vendors are still welcome — they are treated the same as any other reader correction, with the disclosure noted.
